Humans killed the World!
By Alexa Gerlitz It was the summer of 2070 and there had not been a new baby boom for more then 100 years. The economy had fallen, and there was no money for a strong government, a responsible military, and the world was falling apart. Ali was a wise, trusting, religious young lady. Her family was unlike the other families that lived in the diminishing colony, her mother had kept Ali, instead of aborting her. In 1970 abortion became legal in the United States, then it became legal in India, then in Spain, then in Australia, then it took over the world. Abortion became the “new” “it” thing, every woman wanted to get pregnant then abort, soon after “abortion drive- thrus” became known all over the world. Many older women not teenage girls, but middle aged women would drive up to a window, and would be asked what week they were, then drove into a dark parking garage, then 1, 2, 3 they would be done with no pain, no swelling and no lose of blood, and no baby, but after one abortion your body is only aloud 3 more. After the first, then the second, then the third it starts getting addicting and you can’t stop, abortion soon killed mothers, and there was no new babies to be brought into the world. Not only did abortion destroy the human race but it also destroyed the economy, costing the world millions, and trillions of dollars. Counties became states, states became cities, cities became towns, towns became colonies, and colonies became one colony. Billions of people, became 200 survivors or victims of the mass destruction of the abortion. Ali and her mother and father were part of those lucky but unlucky 200 survivors. The abortion drive thrus and the needs and wants of an abortion were long gone, but the aftermath of the abortions was much present. There was no food, no water and people were dieing here and there, either from a lack of nutrition or it was the internal effects of the many abortions that were given. There was 7 days left until Ali, her mother and her father and the other 197 victims were to be part of the massive, explosion of the world ending right before their petite, adolescent eyes. It was just a story right? The world did not blow up into this huge explosion, but we the human race did end the world as we know it. It was our selfish deeds of abortion and allowing the world not to grow to make this world go into chaos and die. It was the humans that killed our precious, innocent world.
